5 TIPS FOR KEEPING KETO THIS THANKSGIVING

TEMPTATIONS DURING THE HOLIDAYS

Keeping keto during Thanksgiving can always be a little tricky. Mashed potatoes....pumpkin pie…there are so many traditions we are used to that are a little high on the carb count. As much as we love replacing these things with new meals, sometimes it is nice to indulge in the comfort foods you know and love.

At Ketolibriyum, we worked hard to come up with tasty recipes that give you all the comfort of the holidays without the carbs. Keto gravy, pumpkin pie blondies.. chicken pot pie soup..these are just a few of the delicious low-carb high-fat keto treats we have until Monday October 1st at Midnight! If you didn't get a chance to order from our Thanksgiving Menu, do not fret. You can stop in the store at 911 Commissioners Road South starting this Thursday October 4th  until Sunday October 7th to grab some Keto Thanksgiving food!

But just in case you did’t order and won’t be able to stop in the store.. here are a few more ways to keep keto this Thanksgiving while still enjoying time at the dinner table with family.

5 TIPS FOR KEEPING KETO THIS THANKSGIVING

  1. Stick to the meats and veggies: Of course, you knew this already. Popular thanksgiving sides like broccoli casserole are a great option to stock your plate with. Cheese..veggies.. a little turkey - not a bad meal.

  1. Bring your own alternatives: Although this can be a little more time consuming, it is worth it when you have something to look forward to at dinner. Making a cauli-mash as a substitute for potatoes is just one example. (You can also order our keto cauliflower mash here by Monday October 1st at midnight)

  1. Skip the stuffing: Although it is tempting, in the end if a plate full of stuffing worth throwing you off track? Instead bring a keto dessert you know you can indulge on at the end of the meal.

  1. Have a plan: We often get thrown off track when we don't have a plan. If you know there are going to be some temptations at dinner, think about where you might run into trouble ahead of time and lay out how you're going to deal with it.

  1. Don't guilt yourself: At the end of the day, Thanksgiving is about spending time with family and…BEING THANKFUL! If you have a slice of pumpkin pie…don't guilt yourself. Enjoy this weekend and always know you can get back on track tomorrow!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
